PLACES SACRED TO THE OLYMPIANS

| The major Olympians each had their special towns
and cities where they were worshipped as patron gods. Temples were
built and festivals held in their honor, and people would beseech their patron god in
times of need. Because of numerous requests I have provided a list
of the main gods, their Roman names and the places that were
considered sacred to them. |

Hera (Juno) - Argos
Apollo - Delos, Delphi
Aphrodite (Venus) - Cyprus, Cythera
